Guest guest
One guy analyzed it's output and said it was half of what was advertised ....... which is probably still worth the eBay price. Corona discharge is crude but will still do the trick and is 90% as good as cold plasma ozone. You can contact Russ at russ@... and tell us if he has further thoughts about Enaly ozone generators. Enaly sells a large one and a small one though both are not always advertised at ebay. Enaly also has a website and an ebay store shows more products. Enaly is made in China. ______________________________________________ Wednesday, June 30, 2004 1:54 PM FROM: russ@... I just received ozone output tests from the sample unit I ordered from Enaly Ozone (www.enaly.com) Enaly claims 200-300 mg/Hr ozone output. The results are shown below. As you can see the results are quite revealing. It appears the highest Ozone output is 59.4 mg/Hr I thought that perhaps the output was much lower than expected as the concentration did not smell as strong as our 200mg/Hr rated WOZ4 unit. I was hoping the results would be consistent with the advertising of their products. So, I guess you get what you pay for. Guest guest
I would say that the test results are not very conclusive, and in fact incomplete since they were all taken at the same flow rate. The test should be re-run at various flow rates in order to produce a characteristic output curve ... this is what calibration is all about. Also, ambient temperature and gas stream (% oxygen, ambient air, etc.) should be noted on the report. Most medical grade manufacturers will supply the calibration curve with your instrument when you purchase it .... I think. If not, I sure would ask " why not! " ? Just my 2 baht 50 satang worth ... Guest guest
Hi , I agree 100%. The test was inconclusive (but it did at least show the O3 output at 1 LPM). I did respond later to that post by saying that I felt Enaly's ozonator was a very well built unit of excellent quality, and that their O3 rating was indeed based on oxygen feed and higher flowrates. If I could delete that original post I would; as it was not a complete test and may have painted the wrong picture. Sorry for any misunderstanding I might have caused. Cheers!
