Guest guest
I think you know in your gut things arent right---earlier in the week you said--I am so excited b/c she has been almost two weeks w/o getting sick---think about that---if you are so exicted about that, does that seem like a " normal " child? and I know the feeling, b/c we have had that happen here--and I start to think--maybe I can go back to school, work, etc--something besides tending sick kids all the time--then, like today you are saying she is sick again, that is how it always happens here. I have fired several drs and what we do is just not go back--let the family dr know so files can be forwarded, or the new dr can get the files for themselves. As long as the dr is in your ins network, it shouldnt be a problem. Dont worry about being rude or hurtiing feelings--you have to take care of Ana, they dont. And I think most of us have been down that road---people thinking you want your child to be sick. I even had a dr accuse me of that--exact words, and I still remember them, 4 yrs later " I am not God, ma'am. I cannot make your son sick just so you can get attention. " I was so stunned--I just wanted help for my baby. And hey, if I wanted attention, I would lose 30 pounds and buy a bikini, not show up in the ER over and over in the middle of the night. That kind of attention I could do with out. IT does hurt, but they arent living your life--they dont see what you see. YOU KNOW what is going on with her---you are the advocate. YOu can do it. How goes the weaning? Did you ever find that E028 drink? Has she been able to get the hang of drinking from a cup, or bottle, or cup with straw? Are you still vomiting? Are you tired of being pummeled with questions LOL? best of luck valarie
