Guest guest
If I've learned anything on this thread over the last number of years is how much Misinformation there is on ozone. Here is an example, in todays San Francisco's only newspaper, SF Chronicle, a full page ad on A8: " Save $50 on Ionic Breeze air purifiers with exclusive new Ozone Guard ! Converts ozone to oxygen on contact! " Ozone Guard " is our name for the award -winning PremAir catalyst ...it is an added level of air cleaning that changes ozone O3 into oxygen O2 on contact...a significant portion of ground level ozone - plus trace levels of ozone by - product - that flows into the unit converts to oxygen before the cleaned air circulates back into the room. " First of all, what ozone are they referring to? In a household where is this ozone? In a major city maybe there is pollution, but we have learned that ozone is highly unstable and combines with particles and chemicals and falls out of the atmosphere to ground level, but ozone in itself is not the problem ever. It always gets the bad rap from the polluters. It's like saying the Police are the bad guys because they are always around the criminal element. But that's the spin on ozone, how can the public ever come to an understanding of ozone with ads like this? ...Dean
