SOTA's Newest Chapter in Honouring our Customers and Ourselves

Dear Friends,

Here's what we have decided to do as a result of the new legislation

in Australia that is destined to be harmonizing regulations for other

countries in the world as well.

This global regulation effort to vastly regulate natural health will

be ongoing and we feel will become more and more restrictive. As a

result of our experience with government over the past few years we

realize that the energy behind these regulations are harmful to the

well being of all. For three years we tried to work with this energy

and meet government regulations. We finally came to the conclusion

that this path was not the one SOTA could productively or honestly

travel. Our business and our lives were absorbed in the process of

appeasing and trying to live within the very limiting mental realm

created by political over regulation. We are finally getting back to

our roots—we started SOTA to care, to share, to free and be free, to

create. Our experience in trying to work with government regulators

has taught us that the two systems are in opposition, with the one

very sick and the other very vital and alive.

For this reason, SOTA is going to become a private community, where

like-minded people can come together to share, to care and to learn

from each other. Our units will only be available to members of this

community.

Both the governments of Canada and Australia have told us that as

long as the intended use for our units are for lifestyle enhancement,

relaxation and well-being we are considered consumer products rather

than medical devices. It is only when claims or intended uses are for

medical purposes that units become medical devices. We do not wish to

be medical devices ... we know that path is one of ill health for

SOTA, our customers and ourselves.

Currently, our units are available for sale to the general public and

the intended uses are as above. We have been working on this for

many months and it will still take many months yet but our new

program will change SOTA to a private community offering our units

only to members. This will allow us to offer more information and our

members to freely share information. At the same time we'll keep the

intended uses as above in place ... thereby allowing us to better

serve our members with more information and meeting to the best of

our ability government regulations.

The SOTA community will continue to have special programs for

practitioners and retailers. More details will be shared in the

coming months as we prepare to implement these changes.

It will allow us share more freely and to live in a healthy

environment.

Extremely well said and I applaud you decision. South Africa is undergoing the

same struggle. My sister and several other people I know are involved in that

struggle. It is only a matter of time when it will be upon us in the US. We

need to develop plans to protect ourselves from government stupidity. Please

keep us informed on your progress.
