Hi, also has a port, she was a terrible stick, took a couple of times each infusion Also she was so panic stricken she was doped up on Valium 7.5 mg beforehand, but once they were ready to stick her it still took 4 nurses to hold her down with her screaming and fighting. None of us could take it. It was 's decision to have the port placed ( she is 10) and she loves it, she is much more relaxed, no fighting etc. She gets IVIG every 2 weeks. - mom to - CVID, asthma, GERD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
