Guest guest
Oh yeah-- some people actually THINK that way. Last year ph fell off of his bike and scraped his knee. Landed in the hospital 2 days later on IV antibiotics because it became so infected. When he got out we let him ride his bike again once his knee felt well enough to ride-- our neighbor actually was amazed that we let him ride his bike again. LOL Not in a bad way, I suppose. But she has told me that she is amazed that I don't freak out and I let them be kids. We got new bikes for them this summer (partly because J needed another bike due to knee pain from his dysplasia)-we've had comments about that from other people. Like our kids should not rid bikes because they might scrape themselves! I wish I was rich. I could be a wonderful philanthropist if I had money. I'd buy you that portable neb. If I ever become rich, that's what I want to do-- help people with chronically ill kids. Just give money anonymously. That would be fun..if I were rich. Peace Be With You, Pattie Don't let your past dictate who you are now, but let it be a part of who you will become. _____ But then, maybe they think my child is not entitled to do those things because she has these illnesses? Maybe they think she should have to stay home, be involved in no activities, never visit out of town or out of state family, or even go to walmart? valarie _____
