THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SOSOSOSOSO MUCH!!!

The information you guys have provided has been amazing. I knew I

could count on you guys. Our RN asked me to forward all the posts

to her and some other stuff Dayna and I have come up with.

I don't know what they have come up with in their " pow wow " today.

I forsee a trip to the oncologist ASAP! Ironically I will tell you

that we are not new comers to the IVIG world and on my sons last set

of labs on 2/6 his platelets were only 229 which is NOT high (normal

range 140-440). Ironically if most of your kiddos are seeing

primarily elevated platelets much higher than our sons the ITP may

be something that needs to be looked into.

I do have one question for you guys. Is ITP a inherited condition?

It has been brought to our attention that our daughter may have the

condition. She does not have a PID that we know of she is treated

for asthma, reflux, allergies etc. No Biggie in the big scheme of

things. She has however in the last 6 months just out of the blue

will develop petechi (sp?-forgive) on her mouth area, bridge of her

nose and nape of her neck. It happened almost right on target every

2 weeks or so. It seems to be gone as of now. So, it is odd to me

that this may be the topic for my son and the other kiddos

bruising.

I am REALLY thankful for all of the useful leads you guys have given

us to research. If anyone comes up with anything else please KEEP

IT COMING! I will in turn keep you guys updated on the outcome. I

will let you all know what tests or avenue of investigating they

decide to do on the kiddos and hopefully a diagnosis of the bruising

source. Hopefully if we see this come up with any other kiddos we

will know exactly which direction to send them.

I am completely overwhelmed at the support and interest you guys

have taken today in my plea for help. I finally feel like this is a

place for me and how completely devoted we are to one anothers

children and this disease. We are so blessed to have this board and

the amazing members!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...KEEP THE INFO COMING!!!
