Thank you, Gail, for taking the time to post this encouraging report!

It's wonderful to hear when things are working, and people are getting

better. You and your husband have really worked hard on both of your

problems and it looks like it's paying off.

We all need to hear such good news!

Blessings to you both,

Sharon

Hi Gail,

When you mentioned depression and retirement it reminded me of my

stepfather who was put on one of the statins. My mother mentioned to me

about his feeling tired, a little depressed and wanting to retire. This

started about the time he was put on this medication and I had done some

digging re this class of medication. I told her to bundle him up and

sit him in front of the doctor with this information, the doctor

switched him to a different statin, lower dose and that all went away.

I'm also hearing this story from others. My stepfather missed it even

though he was a pharmacist for many years. This doctor was educated on

this drug from a doctor hired by the drug company to teach a seminar to

fulfill CEU credits and side effects were glossed over. It's good to do

your own digging for information on any medications as a double check.

Also with the statins, he should be on coQ10. All the statins deplete

this and it's necessary to maintain heart health. I've looked at the

numbers and it seems the statins do lower cholesterol and improve heart

events but the numbers also show they don't actually work by that

action. It's my wild guess that they are antifungal and this lowers

toxicity to the heart

.
