Guest guest
everything is hybridized nowadays so i wouldn't go by that. if you are inclined try a few bites and see how you do. the sprouting imo is the much bigger issue than anything else. it is a dense bread and tastes sweet like a muffin so it might work for you. come on just try it once. :-) believe me no one had worse wheat allergies than me, i would get suicidal 20 minutes after eating white bread and my yeast tests were the worst that some doctors had ever seen so i'm not trying to lead you down the road of grain and doom. andreas moritz wrote something somewhere about potatos that they have some kind of toxic substance in them and need to be cooked very well. interestingly i always did ok with really burnt potatos or potato chips over mashed potatos. Guest guest
Hi A. chuckle. Well, yes I am very familiar with it and it is tastey, and I am going to try it. If it doesn't work for me it will for my dad. On the hybridizing issue, Kamut is not. It is an old grain that was found in Egypt in a pyrimid and then was first grown in the US by a farmer in Texas, as I recall and the growers have gone to great lengths to keep it unhybridized. That makes me hopeful, but we will see. thanks Donna http://www.excellentthings.com aluckower wrote: > everything is hybridized nowadays so i wouldn't go by that. > > if you are inclined try a few bites and see how you do. the sprouting > imo is > the much bigger issue than anything else. it is a dense bread and tastes > sweet like a muffin so it might work for you. come on just try it > once. :-) > believe me no one had worse wheat allergies than me, i would get > suicidal 20 > minutes after eating white bread and my yeast tests were the worst > that some > doctors had ever seen so i'm not trying to lead you down the road of grain > and doom. > > andreas moritz wrote something somewhere about potatos that they have some > kind of toxic substance in them and need to be cooked very well. > interestingly i always did ok with really burnt potatos or potato > chips over > mashed potatos. > > > > > > OxyPLUS is an unmoderated e-ring dealing with oxidative therapies, and > other alternative self-help subjects. > > THERE IS NO MEDICAL ADVICE HERE! > > This list is the 1st Amendment in action. Guest guest
> everything is hybridized nowadays so i wouldn't go by that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You must be KIDDING, of course, because there are a number of Grains, which have been NOT Hybridized! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > if you are inclined try a few bites and see how you do. the sprouting imo is > the much bigger issue than anything else. it is a dense bread and tastes > sweet like a muffin so it might work for you. come on just try it once. :-) > believe me no one had worse wheat allergies than me, i would get suicidal 20 > minutes after eating white bread and my yeast tests were the worst that some > doctors had ever seen so i'm not trying to lead you down the road of grain > and doom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can attest to the Fact, that Baked Sprouted Grain Breads are SWEET! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > andreas moritz wrote something somewhere about potatos that they have some > kind of toxic substance in them and need to be cooked very well. > interestingly i always did ok with really burnt potatos or potato chips over > mashed potatos. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This TOXIC Chemical is an Alkaloid known as Solanine and it's the Reason, why you must REMOVE the Sprouts, which grow on Stored Potatoes, before you eat them Baked preferably. Potatoes are in the Night Shade Family of Plants, which include Tobacco, Tomatoes, Eggplant, Green Mango Peppers, Paprika and Cayenne Pepper, plus a POISONOUS Plant known as Belladonna. http://healingtools.tripod.com/tobacco.html " THANKS " for your post!
