Guest guest
Hi everybody, How are all of you doing these days? Well it is Easter soon, so I am wishing you all a Happy Easter. A lady sent me this song the other day and I just love it, just let it play over and over, and it really touches my heart. So I thought I would share it with you and pray it blesses you too. I have been pretty busy, just the usual stuff. Take the kids to school in the morning, walk my laps at the track, did it every day this week, go to the church and pray awhile, go home, have my coffee and toast. I had Lucas today because Tara and had to go to a funeral, and we spent a couple of hours playing outside in the back. He went give up till we go out, keeps saying, "Bema outside? Bema outside?" We washed all the play dishes in the play house, all the play food, the table and benches, and set up a play "dinner," that was fun. I was really in my element playing house, haha. I just loved doing that when I was a kid, couldn't get enough of it. In fact I was telling , who was working nearby that when I was a kid I would have given my eye teeth for these great little play dishes and play food. I had to use sticks and twigs, pebbles and leaves, anything I could find to create a full meal. Then I would pack a lunch for my "husband," usually my little brother, and send him off to work. And then when he got home, about 5 minutes later, I would served him dinner, my favorite mud pies. It was so hot out today I decided to set up the pool also, it is just a small little thing we have had under the deck from last year, so I cleaned it up real good and put some water in it, it was cold as ice, but Lucas had fun wading around in it. I hadn't realized how cold he got though, when I took him in and dressed him it was a wonder he hadn't turned blue already, and he didn't even sit down in it, thank goodness. It was over 70 here, felt like 85 in the back yard, and the kids will have a 4 day weekend, as they have school conferences Mon. and Tue, as well as the weekend off of course. I am planning to take them to the town Easter egg hunt tomorrow morning, and then will be bringing them over here afterwards where we will color some Easter eggs out in the back yard. They did them at home last year, but Tara says I "have more fun" with them, and she can see that I do. I told her it would get better as she gets older, haha. I don't know though if it will for her, I have always enjoyed playing with my 4 kids, and now these kids. I think I am somewhat of a kid is why, never grew up! And I don't want to either. Well that is about it, the weather is nice, Marty is doing fine for a change and that is great, all things are working out for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. So now tell me how you are doing....please. Lots of love, Carolyn Sent: Monday, April 02, 2007 2:17 PM Subject: The Cross The Cross See what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Carolyn, That is one of my favorite songs. Before Zachary was dx with Aspergers I was a teacher at a christian school. We had chapel every Tuesday. Each class has to rotate and may programs for chapel. I sang that song once during chapel for the ending. Sometimes it cause me to tremble when I sing it, I have a very hard time getting thru it without crying. Touchs my heart each and everytime I hear it or sing it. Guest guest
Hi , This song really touched me also,it carries the meaning of Easter in it more than any other I think. I am glad you enjoyed it. Carolyn Re: The Cross Carolyn, That is one of my favorite songs. Before Zachary was dx with Aspergers I was a teacher at a christian school. We had chapel every Tuesday.
