Guest guest
Dear Gail, Any temperature above 80 degress is going to turn ozone back to oxygen. However, that can be overcome in two ways: - funneling, which protects the ozone from the heat - high flow rate (1/2 l/m) which replaces the ozone faster than it can be destroyed. So the maximum temperature is not as important for ozone conservation as it is for the comfort of the person taking the sauna. Our Omega saunas will produce at least 110 degrees at sea level, and even 115 degrees. However, most people find that 108 degrees is the maximum they can tolerate for 30 minutes, which is the recommended time span. It is better to do 30 minutes at 108, than 20 minutes at 110. The body core heats fairly slowly, and you want it to get up as high as you can stand comfortably. Also, ozone has a time factor attached to it as well, as delineated in my book The Story of Ozone (available for free as an ebook upon request). The longer the treatment, the better (within reason). In the end, if you can only get to 105 degrees and stay in for 15 minutes, you are still going to get good results. The body knows what to do.... Best of health! Does it get above 104 degrees or do you know? Saul, how hot does your sauna get? What is the best temp, in your opinion, for maximum benefits from an ozone sauna. And does the higher the temp destroy the ozone? Thanks, Gail

I hope this won't be a double post, tho. If so, just ignore the one. My question to you were how do you know theozone is replaced faster the can be destroyed by using the above flow rate? Is there some way that can be measured or is it just by the results one gets when using that flow rate? Thanks, Gail
