Vegas Reunion

I am planning to come too! I think it will be a blast! But I'm coming alone

and am afraid I'll be wandering around town all by myself! So you all have

to promise to be nice to me!! (actually 3 days alone in a hotel room sounds

like fun! No children to hang onto my legs or tell me when to get up out of

bed etc.!) However, I'm really looking forward to being with everyone --

talking, playing and finally meeting you!

Oh Kath; it will be so fun to meet you! Well, anyone is fine. But I so

wanted to find a way for you to get there last year. Remember we talked of

a van or something so you could lay down? And someone that could pick up

people all along the states?

Anyway, don't worry about a room, I'm sure there will be enough when the day

oh Patti, you're too funny. You don't have to worry about being alone, ever

again. You have all of us. If you are able to make it to Vegas, that would

be wonderful, we all look forward into meeting each other, and hanging out

together as one big family. I think that we will have endless nights of

laughter and fun. Hope to see you there, and yes you may bring someone if

you wish... 8 )

I want to come too, but 1- I don't know if I can get the time off of work

and 2-I would also be coming by myself and what if nobody wants to hang out

with me! I'd be pretty darn lonely. Well unless.....let me think about this

for a moment....can I bring someone???I am just thinking out loud here, I

would like to meet all of you, but I'm really not up for doing things by

myself so please....I don't know! teehee!!!!

Kathi, Marilyn, patti/Canada , and all others who may be planning to

come to Vegas: I am so glad you are planing to come! There are plenty

of rooms available and options to get more for a short while. Do not be

concerned about coming alone, there are others coming alone and plenty

who will love to visit, soak in the hot tubs, share a meal, have a PJ

party, visit, shop, catch a movie. It is a marvelous chance to meet and

share experiences and learn what heart this group truly has!! The

Orleans has been very good about refunding the one night $40/room res.

fee if you have to cancel, as long as they get 48 hour notice. So make

your reservations and work toward coming! This group of all groups

certainly understands the uncertainties of illness and finances. Hoping

to see many of you in Sept. Louise.

Yes Patty, great minds and all that! I am feeling much much better,

looking forward to seeing my doctor in about 8 days, getting a few

things cleared up, lol. How is the unpacking going? I hope you are

doing well and happy Melt, you are such a sweet , encouraging, fun

person, your deserve the best!! I better amble off to bed, I am pretty

full of narcotics this week, I hope I am not developing a bad habit.

It looks like we may have a very good turn out to Vegas, I have several

plans I am working on and of course your raffle will be the highlight!

We will receive many suggestion I hope, that will help with the

Patty dear one, thanks so much for the sweet note. Also, thanks for ensuring me

that there will be enough rooms for me to add myself to the list at the last

minute.

It just isn't enough that you support my coming...you are thinking of my

comfort!!! I think I will fly as it will be a much shorter trip and hopefully

more comfortable (?). One can get quite cheap rate from here to Dallas to

Vegas...seems there might be a few gamblers down this way. Don't worry about

me, or give me not one more thought. You have been more than kind.

I thank you for advising me that I can go ahead and make my reservations this

week (on Friday). I am very much looking forward to meeting all those I missed

last year along with anyone else. I am quite excited.

Thanks again for your sweetness and I look forward to meeting you and so many

Patti i will be goin by air,the flights are pretty cheap im sure if i drove it

would acually cost more.You would be more than welcome to come to Edmonton and

fly with me from here if you prefer.I havent arranged anything yet but im

plannin to book my room for now,kinda stupid i dont have credit card lol havta

Patti, I am 2 1/2 hours south of Vancouver BC. Our plans so far stand as we

will leave Seattle Saturday Sept.20th, mid-afternoon and return to Seattle on

the morning of the 24th, Wednesday. We will be flying down via Alaska Air or

Southwest. I will begin watching for fall fares in late July. You are more

then welcome to join us for the flight down, not sure what kind of rooms they

are offering, bedwise one or two in each room. We usually get a king smoking

room when we travel, but I think that some of the rooms have 2 double/queen

size beds. Maybe we can do some room sharing to help cut the cost for some

of us. We should take a quick poll on how many will be travelling alone and

if they mind sharing a room . Then all of you who are single travelers and

who want to share a room should match up and only rent one room.

anyhow just a thought...well I am so excited to meet everyone in person.

Patti, I too live in Toronto and would love to go to Vegas but will have to

wait until closer to the time to find out if I can go or not. I would be

going with my husband but of course you can hang out with us if we go. I'm

sure there will be alot of people to hang out with.

LOL Caroline, yes a PJ party would be fun and I am sure you of all

people could plan a riotous good party!! Please do, I can hardly wait

to see you all again. Hope the ''current crisises'' peters out with

little trouble.. The anxiety thing sounds very inconvienant and

uncomfortable, I remember that for a shot time that I went through

something similar. Walking was the only way to control it so it was

darn good that it did not last long as you know how well I walk!

I think I can see a light at the end of my tunnel but I have never had

this much pain and I can do without it ! We have a grandson's BD party

coming up this Saturday in Pocatello that we hope to go and enjoy. My

other daughter from Boise will pick me up there and take me to her home

for my appointment with my rheumy. I have a looooooooooong list to

discuss with him this time, lol.. Playing with the grandkids will make

me better than almost anything, I so love that, LOL! You, Lorie,

Cynthea and all the others write down these goosd ideas for our reunion.

I feel in my bones this is going to be a party to remember. I may even

get to teach me how to play poker. Hey does anyone play

I would be traveling alone and could only afford to go if I could share costs
