Hi Dina,

I think the psychiatrist didn't want to give a diagnosis b/c he

hadn't actually heard from himself. Friday was the first time

he actually talked to him. The only thing he's said so far is

Anxiety Disorder, NOS and a Mood Disorder, NOS. If the lamictal is

what's helping his intrusive thoughts, I think that will be the only

drug he'll be on. If the bad thoughts are stil a problem, I'd rather

find out if cognitive behavioral therapy helps before trying a new

med. With the mood swings and unstable behavior, up until now he

wasn't able to deal with therapy. Already, after stopping the

last .5 mg. ativan and reducing the risperdal from 2.5 mg. to 2 mg,

he's regaining his ability to do math problems.
