Guest guest
Dear Jim, You might possibly get some help from the TENS unit, but you probably need more than it can give. Why not look into the chi machine units? Sun Ancon has a good reputation. Best of Health! It has three modes one of which is burst mode. In burst, instead of giving you a shock when set to high, feels like something was taping on the site. I believe this mode causes muscles to expand and contract much the way some belly fat reducing devices do. My question is, if this is true, could it be used on a leg to exercise it's muscles and increase blood circulation. Saul is probably the only one who might be able to answer this question. The secret might be in setting the pulse slow with the volume high enough to cause the muscles to contract. I have been using the alternate hot/cold water treatment with some success but would like to add something that is portable. _________________________________________________________________ MSN® Calendar keeps you organized and takes the effort out of scheduling get-togethers. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines Start enjoying all the benefits of MSN® Premium right now and get the first two months FREE*. Guest guest
I would love to but unfortunately I am limited to what the Veterans Administration doctors are smart enough to provide. I would love to try hbot but they don't think I need them. Same with limb bagging and any of the other solution mentioned. In short I am limited to conventional medicine I will try the tens unit today. Guest guest
Beautifull!!! I just remember when I had carotid surgery they wanted to put something similar on my legs but for some reason didn't. Maybe armed with this new information I can get a device like you suggest for nothing through the VA. I need to contact my doctor monday anyhow.
