Hi Paige,

My son Corey 4 yrs old has severe speech apraxia. He had been on the ProEFA

for several months. At the beginning we saw a surge of growth for Corey's

language. However, his progress has really tapered off recently. So, we

started him on Heritage Health Products, Omega 3. We are again seeing a

surge in his progress. I don't know if it has anything to do with the

switch but we are again seeing progress and have gotten good reports from

the speech therapist at school this week as well.

I hope it's ok, but I created a new poll. I would love to know who

is using the ProEFA and other products and their results. I am on

several internet boards, and get so confused with names. lol I'd

like to be able to just look there and see who's who and doing what.

I'm also on the parentsplace " Speech Delays " board as " girls_rock " .

Hi, I'm TJ. (I was also visiting the parentsplace board, but

recently " signed off " from there. I had posted about the ProEFA,

too, and got very minimal response there. I visited there today and

saw your post - I'm glad to see there are others there who are now

giving it a try.)

Anyway, my son has been taking the ProEFA since April this

year. We couldn't be happier with the results! After 3 months, he

was released from his therapy at Children's Hospital. He still has

artic. problems, mainly with /l/, /s/, and blends. He shows no

processing problems at all while on the ProEFA.

I have stopped giving him the ProEFA (for about 2 weeks now), and

haven't seen a big difference so far.

I am waiting for the Omega 3 (only) I ordered to arrive. I plan to

give it to him instead of the ProEFA.

Take care and Good Luck to you and yours!!

TJ

Curious as to why you stopped the Omega6? Also were you going with 1

pill or 2?

Thanks.

I got type 2

I been in a relationship for 17 months and he is not disabled. I'm not

engaged but I'm pre engaged :-) Sometimes things can get difficult but with the

way

we communicate it works out well. Took me by surprise but his parents do

accept me and are very nice.

I'm 53 and not in a relationship, have never married, and never had a

long-term relationship. All my relationships have been few and brief. I'm happy

for

all of you in relationships and admit to being a bit envious. How did you keep

it going so long? Great!

My husband and I have been together for 9 years as of Nov. 3rd. He isn't

disabled. It takes a lot of effort to keep any relationship alive, I guess.

My husband is able bodied...

I've lived both lives abled bodied and now physically challenged...

Communication is the key....

Simone;

I've never found that certain someone, however I wasn't looking. Because

in the 70's Dr's told my mom that it was the female that carried the gene and

for years she blamed herself, I remember she had pull the car off the road so

my aunt could finish driving us home and now even though, we know better. When

I look at my parents I can still see the pain that my little sister and I

have caused them for almost 40 year.

Love Always & Blessings Be,

Steve and I have been together since March 1997, married since October 1998.

He is not considered disabled, but has 's Disease which is an

adrenol-deficiency disorder. He takes steroids to provide his system with

adrenaline.

On the internet, through a mutual internet friend whom neither of us has ever

met face to face. Steve was living with his brother in Maine when we met,

however he was from Chicago and simply came home months later.

Yes, Bernie, I know exactly how difficult relationships are and how hard you

must work at them. I'm 53 and I have been working hard all my adult life to

have one real true one. It's tiring!
