Hi all! I NEEDED to be SURE that ANYONE, who owns an Aranizer Air

Purifier Unit, realizes that he/she NEEDS to be SAFE (see Step 1),

while cleaning his/her Aranizer, and so I'm posting these REVISED

Aranizer Cleaning Instructions. I received these Basic Cleaning

Instructions a few years ago from Ted Trikilis, President and Owner

of ARAN-AQUA Co.. FYI, ANY Electronic Components, which would be

DAMAGED by Water, have been coated with a SPECIAL Compound. Besides,

you're ONLY dip the Metal Case of the Aranizer HALFWAY. I've done

this Cleaning Procedure at various times in the past for my SS-4x

Aranizer.

Aranizer Cleaning Instructions

If you use your Aranizer Air Purifier Unit on a REGULAR Basis, I'd

recommend cleaning your Aranizer at least EVERY 6 Months, and if

there's HEAVY Pollution involved, then you NEED to clean your

Aranizer Air Purifier Unit EVERY 3 Months.

1. UNPLUG your Aranizer Air Purifier Unit from the A.C. Outlet!!

2. Put on a pair of Heavy Rubber or Canvas Gloves.

3. Fill a Bucket/Pail with VERY HOT Water (no soap).

4. Hold onto the Power Cable about 1-2 ft. from that end of your

Aranizer's Metal Case.

5. Dip your Aranizer up and down 10 times into the Bucket, allowing

it to go into the Water ONLY about HALFWAY up it's Metal Case.

6. Grab the Metal Case with it's Vents pointing downward towards the

Floor.

7. Hold TIGHTLY and shake it ENOUGH times, so that ANY EXCESS Water

has basically been REMOVED.

8. Allow your Aranizer to dry for at least 12 hours.

" THANKS " for your time and interest!

Hi Again, Tom

Thanks for taking the time to spell all this out.

I would've unplugged it first---honest I would!! <G>

I'm just curious about the requirement for wearing gloves---why is that?

After Step 5, the Metal Case at one end is going to be HOT and so if

you have on the Gloves in Step 6, you won't burn your Hand. Hmm. So

maybe you ONLY NEED 1 Glove. I REVISED and CHANGED the order of the

Steps (see below).

" THANKS " for your reply post!
