Guest guest
Hi ~ My name is and Im new to the boards. I have a 3 year old daughter Olivia that just had an immune workup done, from what the immunologist told me is she did not make antibodies to her vaccines. Her Ig levels are all within normal range. Today I received a letter from the immunologist and it states.... " an immune deficiency panel was looked at and showed her to have normal number of T cells, normal helper & suppressor populations although there are approx 8% double negative T cells that lack expression of CD4 or CD8 that are CD3 positive. She does not have significant activation in her T-cell population, " Can anyone help me understand what this means? We did just have her immunization done about a month ago and had her levels redrawn on Tuesday. Her GI said that if she does not respond to this round of immunizations her would like to speak to her immunologist about doing IVIG. She is FTT and is sick all the time.
