Two of my boys have had bleeding/low platelet problems due to both Celexa and Lexapro. The pediatrician did a blood test that showed low platelets (lots of bruising) and said to stop. The pdoc said it couldn't possibly be related but the bruising stopped after stopping the meds. The ped said something about possible internal bleeding (spleen, I think) if they fell or got bumped hard at recess or PE so you might want to get it checked out. --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I think you should call your Doctor and pharmacy. You could also ask Dr. Geller. adelem1232000 <adelem@...> wrote: My son has just had his first two nose bleeds in the last 12 hours. He also have a few bruises on his legs. Does anyone know if this is related to Zoloft? I think I read somewhere that bruises can be caused with that. Thanks --------------------------------- How low will we go?
