Hi. I don't post much but felt that I needed to respond. Two of my boys have

had bleeding/low platelet problems due to both Celexa and Lexapro. The

pediatrician did a blood test that showed low platelets (lots of bruising)

and said to stop. The pdoc said it couldn't possibly be related but the

bruising stopped after stopping the meds. The ped said something about

possible internal bleeding (spleen, I think) if they fell or got bumped hard

at recess or PE so you might want to get it checked out.

I think you should call your Doctor and pharmacy. You could also ask Dr.

Geller.

related to Zoloft? I think I read somewhere that bruises can be caused

with that.

Thanks
