Hi, I have been reading on and off some posts for the past few

months and have written about my son a couple times. I have a now

5 year old son on 2ml prozac since this last november. Things were

going well and we saw so many healthy changes in him since we put

him on prozac, but lately we have been wondering about some behavior

and questioning whether it is related to his OCD or not. It seems

like he had decreased his finger sucking but again has picked it up

and is constantly sucking his finger. His negativity is beginning

to increase. He feels grumpy about so many things. I don't think

it is us his parents....he is in a healthy home, he is loved,

supported, etc. Why is he so grumpy about so many things?

Everytime we are about to go somewhere, he starts whinning and

crying that he does not want to go. He complaints he is tired, or

he will always tell me he does not like a particular person, or a

particula place. Is negativity part of OCD? And why does he suck

his finger so so much? His behavior is getting worse too. Too

impulvise and then he does not know why he just made a bad choice.

The biggest thing with him now is that he cannot get over the

question of why Darth Vader turned bad when he was good as a kid.

He has never seen the movies, but hears about them at preschool.

Then we will try to explain and he will ask us again about three

times the next day and the next why Darth Vader makes bad choices,

and why he started to make bad choices, and why he does not say

sorry, etc. He asks very deep intense questions he is definetely not

ready to hear an answer for. Anyway, I just wonder if his behavior

is common in other children with OCD. Thank you. Blanca
