,

My girls present differently with strep......they each have their own

symptoms......so I guess you should go with how SHE usually does with

strep.

My Olivia usually spikes a fever, cant swallow, aches and has stomach

cramping.........in bed in misery, and its pretty obvious something is

going on. Once she actually went from strep to scarlet fever!!(and she

is the only NON pid kid in the house!!)

Savannah will say.....ow, my throat hurts..and keep going.......and

she can also have strep. Or she will puke and say her throat hurts.

But they each tend to run the same pattern every time.

So try to think back to other times she has had strep......and if this

isnt the same pattern, then its probably a cold. I hope the " little

warm " isnt a big fever!

Olivia was sick the last two weeks.....I took her to the dr, b/c of

continuing cold symptoms bugging her asthma, she checked for strep and

it was neg, but her throat was red. Now Brennan has it, runny nose,

losing voice, tired, cranky, asthma flaring.........I am hoping

against hope it isnt going to move on to the other two kids.(thats

REALLY a fantasy LOL). Last night was Olivia's birthday sleepover, and

next week on her realy b-day she is getting her ears pierced, and she

was so afraid they would all be to sick to do any of it......so I can

feel for you and on that. Brennan was on treatments every 4 hrs

but we still made it out to eat last night and bowling, so it wasnt

too bad. Hopefully, we get thru the ear piercing day on Wed, and then

IVIG is Thursday and maybe that will help with the whole thing.

Hope she is feeling better.
