He saw a developmental pediatrician on Monday who " diagnosed " him as PDD- NOS. I am also 7 months pregnant with our second son. I know I will have a TON of questions! So bare with me =) Does having PDD-NOS make my son Autistic, or is he in the spectrum? I am highly confused with that! All I got was a pamphlet on PDD-NOS from the doctor, and to be seen in 6 months. (It was a 2 hour appointment). I have NO IDEA where to go from here. My son has speech at pre-school 5 times a week, and occupational 2 times per week. Will this change? Does he need a new IEP?
