That's great news! You're right, seems like it shouldn't have been so hard, but

glad it worked out OK in the end.

Hi Rhonda, I've been reading the posts about this and am sooo glad

things worked out! It is a shame you all had to go through this just

to have some needed medication given. I hope the school system works

something better out for all, wonder what other kids/families are

having to go through and be missing taking!

Wonderful! I am so glad you stuck with it and they are doing what is best for

your son. It is all about $$ with the schools.

That's great. Perhaps you have paved the way for things to be easier

in the future - they know you mean business. Best wishes for a good

school year.

Hi Rhonda,

I am so proud of you! Great perseverance and follow through. You are a

terrific mother and a super advocate for children. Kathy

Hi Rhonda,

I was wondering if you could share the contact info for the Educational Rights

Specialist you used. I have a friend in RI that could use one. Kathy

Thank you for the support!!!!!!!!!! The advocate is my son's

psychologist. She just happens to be an advocate and she works out

of Mass. Arbour Suites. It is ok to post her name if so I will

before the end of today. Have you ever heard of the Pediatric

Research Study at RI hospital? We are going there on Tuesday to take

part in a research study.

Thank You

I don't need her name. If it is your child's psychologist I would

rather see your childs privacy come first. I have not heard of the

Pediatric Research study at RI Hospital. Is it a med based study? It

would be interesting to see what Dr. Geller knows about the study.

He should know something about it, since he is out of Massachusetts

General Hospital in Boston. Maybe you could submit a question to

him. Perhaps he could recommend a program he is familiar with near

you or shed some professional light on the study. Take care, Kathy
