Guest guest
Our ped is not the on-call--otherwise I would call.... I think the ped who does not really know the boys would tell us to go back to ER possibly. The ER said to bring him back if he continues to have a headache, yadda yadda...but in the same breath said to give him Tylenol and Motrin FOR the headaches. So he woke with a headache--think I mentioned that? I gave him Tylenol at noon (he woke just past 11 and because of empty stomach--REALLY empty from puking waited until he was eating) About 3o minutes ago he came to tell me his head still hurts. He has eaten just fine, etc.... I know I could give him MOtrin-- but he does have GERD and I worry about constantly masking the pain, too....... could this just be a bit of a leftover headache from the severe one last night and the puking? And thus not really a new headache? Our ped emailed me this morning-- she has no idea what is going on or that was even in the ED-- I almost want to email her back and ask her to call me so I can fill her in and pick her brain....BUT she's got the weekend off and we will see her Monday-- don't want to ruin her weekend bugging her with questions. ~sigh~ Any input would be helpful. He did sleep at the ED but with leaving, being examined, CT it wasn't restful-- slept til after 11 once we got home...so this could just be b/c he is tired... I don't know reaching for straws and hoping he feels better soon. +JMJ+ Peace Be With You, ><>Pattie Piedmont Triad, NC Mom to , age 11 & healthy; age 9, Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome; and ph age 8, Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome.
