Guest guest
Dear Jill, If you have those concerns, I would suggest you use Homozon, which is not herbal at all. I personally do not think it is a good idea to dump a bunch of herbs into the body when the liver is plugged. I know naturopaths will disagree with me on this point, but I see no point in forcing an overworked liver to process more things, which is what is necessary with any herbs. Far better to do a couple of weeks of Homozon, get the colon cleaned out, and then do a series of liver cleanses. After that, then bring on the herbs, such as milkthistle and dandelion root. As always, the most reliable source of Homozon is Donna Crow at 541-485-7199. Best of health! I tried psyllium and I feel I'm allergic to it--even the smell bothered me and it really irritated my gut. Bentonite is okay, and I tried that and caprol for a while with no effect positive or negative. I really don't like taking herbal formulas rather than single herbs, and Schulze's and others' approaches contain colon cleansing formulas with a total of about 12-15 thinigs. Just curious what people's experiences on here have been. _________________________________________________________________ Take advantage of powerful junk e-mail filters built on patented Microsoft® SmartScreen Technology. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines Start enjoying all the benefits of MSN® Premium right now and get the first two months FREE*. Guest guest
Thanx Saul. I think I have some homozon here...or I did anyway. But I'm not constipated anyway, and my instinct is also not to take all those herbs. I'm sensitive to some of them anyway. > Dear Jill, > > If you have those concerns, I would suggest you use Homozon, > which is not herbal at all. > > I personally do not think it is a good idea to dump a bunch of herbs > into the body when the liver is plugged. Guest guest
Hi Jill, I've mentioned it before, but I will mention it again. I personally won't do laxative herbs. They are irritating to the bowel and I would avoid them. Homozon will clean you out like gang busters without irritating tht bowel. In fact it is healing to the bowel and floods your body with ozone at the same time. And I do think you have more success with liver or kidney cleanses if you do bowel cleansing first. Guest guest
Thanx, appreciate the heads up on homozon from both of you. Makes a lot of sense. I have to say I did try the psyllium-bentonite colon cleanse and the psyllium had a very bad effect on me.
Guest guest
Donna--another question. I looked in my kitchen cabinet and what I have (and its expired anyway) is Colosan. I remember researching this a while ago--aren't they similar? Not that I can use this bottle as it expired in 2003.
Guest guest
OH well.. I threw out the colosan because of the expiry date, and just asked Donna who will send me a homozon next week. I definitely like the idea of cleansing in a simple way. I'm a little worried tho because ozonated water really reacted badly with me. I don't know why that specifically had such an effect, could be die-off in the bowel who knows but I wasn't able to handle it. So I hope homozon doesn't have too much ozone but I'll find out. I had a bit of a hard time or setback a few weeks ago when I got cystitis. I went to the ER in the middle of the night because it came on rather suddenly and was really hurting very badly. I *never* take antibiotics unless totally forced to (as at the beginning of lyme) but I took 5 days of cipro. Blech. That did take care of the cystitis but increased my systemic candida and did a # on my gut, so I have been nursing that back to health. I also got advice from Saul to ozonate the bladder, and I got a video just yesterday (searched the internet and found a company that sent it to me) so I can see how it's done because frankly I get the heeby jeebies about the idea, I don't even like enemas...but I do think it would be a good idea, to totally sterilize my bladder. A second urine culture showed no growth which is good but still...I think candida is a big issue. So, I'm not sure a health update at the moment is so great because of the setback above. But I'm mostly recovered from that problem. > > > Donna--another question. I looked in my kitchen cabinet and what I > > have (and its expired anyway) is Colosan. Guest guest
Donna, I too think, I should avoid the homozon if it slow-releases ozone in the gut...since the water didn't agree w/ me. What is a good plain old magnesium oxide product--is that colosan? Or is there another? I had to take the antibiotics--I had a major ecoli infection, and it was killing me. NO way I could bear that pain, never had something like that before, and within 20 minutes of the first cipro it was improving. I take cranberry capsules, as they stop the ecoli from sticking. I did try mannose, but my gut doesn't like it and I didn't think it did all that much for me. Its true DMSO is for chronic inflammation in the bladder, but I don't have that kind of situation. FIrst of all, the urine culture I took about 10 days later (just to be sure) grew out nothing at all. Secondly, I never had one of those before and there were specific circumstances, I think, that led to it. I appreciate your advice, tho.
