Saul and List,

I am looking for a good, reasonably priced (under $300) water distiller. I use

distilled water to make colloidal silver -- it's absolutely necessary that the

water *not* contain minerals -- and feel very uneasy about using DW in plastic

jugs, because DW is volatile and leaches the plastic even more than " regular " or

spring water does.

I am aware that there are some distillers that do " double distilling " -- that

is, they distill a second time inside the unit, and this second-time-around

phase gets rid of solvents like benzene. I am willing to pay more for this.

Can anyone please give me a good recommendation? Are the abovementioned active

alumina filter or calcined bone filter ever part of a good distillation system?

By the way, the pollutants in the air have been pernicious in the past two days.

For the first time, ozone did not stop the wheezing in my lungs or clear my

sinuses (although it helped relieve some of the symptoms); so I drank about 24

ounces of colloidal silver in the course of about 3 hours. After the first 8

ounces, which I gulped down in one sitting, my sneezing stopped like magic.

To our good health,

Nenah

Nenah. I know that Ken Gullan of this group posted an inexpensive

distiller that he uses not long ago. It was about $99

You might contact him directly as I know he isn't always reading th

eposts since he is taking care of his dying wife. But I know he would

gladly give you the link. And if you find it. please post it here.

It's the American Distiller 740-544-5842. We really like ours.
