Dear Joyce,

These are detox symptoms, a bit more intense than most, but not totally

unheard of.

Keep on chipping away at the mountain. It is a process of three steps

forward,

two steps back. Do not get discouraged by the two steps back. Keep your

gaze focused on the goal in the distance. Enjoy the three steps forward

when

they come. It will get better.

Best of Health!

Subject: ozone and eye symptoms

Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2004 01:16:45 -0000

Hello everyone. I often read the posts here but have never submitted

one before. I have been doing ozone therapy for several months:

sauna, vaginal insufflations, eye insufflations, water. Of all the

detox symptoms I've had, there is one that troubles me most (Ihave the

usual rashes, itching, etc). That is how it seems to affect my left

eye. Perhaps I should explain that about 17 years ago I had

infections in my left ear, then about 10 years ago noticed a hearing

loss in that ear. It constantly feels full...plugged. Several drs

have looked at it...It's not from wax buildup. When I started doing

ear insufflations I started with just 30 seconds a day with the usual

draining and oozing. On the sixth day I had a violent reaction. My

ears swelled totally shut, had extreme shooting pains, and I looked

like I had mumps. After 2 months the reaction had diminished (I was

deaf for a month), and I started again: 5 seconds every other day.

After a week, they swelled shut again. When I started again, I did

just 1 second every other day. After several months I have worked up

to 45 seconds a day in both ears.

I think that the ear insufflations may be causing the symptoms I'm

having with my left eye. It has become foggy -- clouded. Like a

cataract. (I had cataract surgery 4 years ago) However, I don't think

it's a

recurring cataract, because I have had a few days when the fog has

lifted, and my vision is clear, or nearly so. And sometimes the fog

is denser than at other times. Also, I don't have high blood

pressure, so I don't think it's bleeding. I feel pretty sure it's a

detox reaction from ear insufflations and possibly other ozone...

My right eye is clear, but very occasionally will get a blurry spell,

which has passed quickly...within a few minutes.

Has anyone had anything similar happen? I'm wondering if anyone would

have any suggestions about how I could help clear my vision?

I'd appreciated hearing from anyone who might have had a similar

experience...and how you might have coped with it!

This has been going on for several months now, and it's rather

distressing!

Thanks,

Joyce

-Hi Joyce,

I remember when I first started doing ear insufflation, I did my

usual of jumping right in and quickly advanced to 15 minutes two or

three times a day. It didn't take long before I was in trouble.

Funny but I had forgotten all about that. My ear and eye swelled up

so badly it was scary. Seems like it even went down into my neck.

There are a couple of things that you might want to try besides just

the backing off a bit. Seems like it is the Chinese that say the

eyes are somehow related to the liver and the best healing for the

eye is through the liver. I don't know if that's the exact way it's

put, but what I have experienced when doing a liver cleanse is my eye

sight really improves. It doesn't last tho, and I still end up

having to go back to my glasses, but for that first day after a liver

cleanse I really can see clearly without them. Lately, tho, I've

been noticing some suttle improvement with my eyes and I am assuming

it is from the ear insufflation. I still need my glasses but my eyes

feel better. Just kind of hard to explain other than I've noticed

something in a positive way with my eyes. I've really decreased the

amount of time tho and no longer experience any negative feelings.

The other thing you might want to try incase it is some kind of

infection is a mixture of CS/MSM. We were just discussing this on

another list. The mixture amount is 2TLB. of CS to 1/4tsp. MSM. It

was suggested one apply this to the eyes 3 to 4 times daily then

after the eyes start to feel better use only the CS in the eyes as

the MSM might tend to dry them out.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

These sound very similar to my problem with a blocked right ear and the

progression you have gone through using insufflations. I had to cut back to

as little as 10 seconds every second day each ear (I alternated ears to

enable me to sleep on a different side each night to allow the ooze to come

out) It took about 6 months of unreal oozing fro the blockage to clear out

and about 8 months to get up to 5 minutes per day on each ear. I eventually

got up to about 15 minutes per day before my situation changed and I have

been too busy but need to get back into it soon. Good luck!

Best wishes and much love, Ken

Gail, you mentioned a mixture of CS/MSM to apply to the eyes. Is this

a liquid used as drops or something applied to the outside of the

eyes? Also, what is CS... I know MSM. Could you give me a bit more

detail, or tell me where to find out more?

Thank you,

Joyce

Joyce, CS is colloidal silver. You can make your own or buy it at

the health food store. Apply the liquid inside the eyelid as if you

were treating yourself for pinkeye. gail

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't get discouraged by detox

symptoms and try to keep them at a manageable level so that I don't.

Even if it takes me longer than some others, I am determined to keep

chipping away at it. I don't mind if my ears ooze, etc...as long as I

can keep them from swelling all the way closed!

What is bothering me most right now is not being able to see clearly

out of my left eye. It is foggy all of the time, with just occasional

times of being clear almost all the way. In the past 3 months I have

had about 4 days of clear vision in that eye.

I am wondering if there is anything I can do to promote the clearing

out of stuff from that eye so my vision isn't so hindered?

I had something similar, and I went to my opthalmologist. He said that the

vitreous material inside the eyeball which is

normally a gel had liquified and was moving around inside the eyeball. He said

that this is somewhat normal and would

settle down eventually. I would suggest a trip to the eye doctor.

Absolutely - if you can stand it...

Dr. Schulze's eyewash. The problem with it is, most people cannot take

the stinging - you see, it has cayenne pepper extract in it.

The fact is, there is nothing better for cleansing out the eyes and

restoring vision. It is reported to heal cataracts and everything else.
