Guest guest
Okay, you all made me feel so much better! I LOVE THIS GROUP! I'm not going to stress over the Hep B antibodies. We have about a week and a half before we can test pneumo antibodies, I'll wait on that to panic! :-) I'm not sure why our ped ran the hep b, we never did for Conner. The other things pending are Tetanus, Diptheria and HIB (all of these were good for Conner, he just seemed to stop being able to make antibodies in recent years). My ped seems pretty convinced that my daughter has an immunodefiicency, she also had negative antibodies for Mumps (not sure why the ped tested that either). She was the one hospitalized recenty with pneumonia and needed 10 days of rocephin to get better. I guess if that's the case we'll just deal with it - easier said than done! I do think my hubby also has a problem, his IgG is low and he has chronic sinus infections, just wish we could find a doc to take the problem seriously. When we go back for consults with all of the kids in Cincy, Dr. Bleesing is running labwork on both my husband and I, he found some genetic issues with Conner's labs. , we will be at the hospital today. We're going to try Conner's port again and pray that it wasn't damaged last month! If it burns again they said we'll do a dye study, so if you don't find him up on peds then that's probably where we are. My cell number is 765-532-0991. Thanks again! Mom to Conner (11, Asperger's, mild CP, partial seizures, asthma, GERD, Hashimoto's disease, hypogammaglobulinemia, complement deficiency, antibody deficiency, NK cell defect, and resolved adrenal insufficiency), Hayden (11, PDD-NOS, IBS and moderate hearing loss/aided), Evan (11, asthma and mild hearing loss/unaided), and Kelsey - (9 going on 19!)
