Guest guest
Dear Jane, I'm inexperienced at this, and Bose makes a $300 pair that blocks out all sound. What if you plugged them into a portable cd player with say: ocean sound or water or rainforest. You might be interested in Genet's cd Byonetics (look in search). There are other earphones that will do that. Check out Radio Shack, where I saw some. You usually have to put a battery in. I even got a pair for $6.99 at the 99cent store. I will look for them and get you the name. I don't think they make any noxious noise. In a message dated 12/18/2006 1:16:39 A.M.
