Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for chiming in on the immune stuff for our family. Dr. Bleesing said that we will hold off on putting the rest of the family on IVIG until we really do a good trial of prophylaxis. They are all on bactrim, but continue to have breakthrough infections, so I'm not sure what he has in mind. Obviously they aren't as severe as Conner, but we still don't have any answers on his disorder either and they speculate that he has a combined deficiency, I'm just kind of reeling at the moment. I guess I was wondering if anyone thinks we should contact anyone else for another opinion, or do we stick with Dr. Bleesing on this? Take care, Mom to Conner (11, possible combined immune deficiency, Asperger's, mild CP, partial seizures, asthma, GERD, Hashimoto's disease and resolved adrenal insufficiency), Hayden (11, unknown PID, PDD-NOS, IBS and moderate hearing loss/aided), Evan (11, unknown PID, asthma and mild hearing loss/unaided), and Kelsey - (10, unknown PID, asthma) Please visit us at www.caringbridge.org/in/connersmith
