Guest guest
I dont know if its actual cramping or pain, or if she even knows the right words for it. WE have tried, at the drs suggestions, extra bananas, salt, and water. Savannah drinks a LOT of water. We have taken her to a chiropractor who cant figure it out. Last night was another bad night. FIVE HOURS of screaming and leg pains. I gave her a little benedryl, thinking it might relax her, and at some point I even gave her an adult strength tylenol, though I know its wrong, but I had no kids tylenol in the house and at 4 a.m. and SO MUCH SCREAMING I had to do something. I rubbed her legs and foot until my hands went numb. Something must be done about this. MOnday I am going to call and try to get her into the neuro guy Donovan is seeing. I had spoken with him before about these pains and her sleepwalking and he mentioned possible RLS or CSA. I myself have RLS,though I just found out about this yr.Its wonderful to finally have a med that helps it so much. I have read though that RLS can vary by degrees and that some people have terrible pains, and some people have like you said, and how I feel, crampy restless, like I cant hold still and cant sleep. Something has to happen here, this CANNOT go on. She also gets pains in her hands sometimes. RLS can also happen thru the day in severe cases. I felt so helpless last night. In my half-sleep I first thought she was having a febrile seizure of some kind, but when I woke up a little more I realized her ENTIRE body was just shaking from the pain, and I had no control over it at all. I hate having no control at all. valarie
