Guest guest
Can you describe your herx on ozone? I've got a combination of systemic lyme and systemic candida. The systemic candida was prior to lyme but wasn't as bad as it's gotten since lyme slymed me. The systemic candida was the reason I couldn't tolerate a lot of abx even in the beginning when I caught it. I think a good deal of my reaction to the ozone was die off from candida and maybe a little lyme. But it wasn't the " herx " reaction as I know it--when I took abx, or do a lot of hyperbaric, I get stiffer in my neck, achier in my muscles. Its very specific and consistent. But the ozone did not do that. It started to clear up candida symptoms but I expect my " blood " if they'd done a darkfield analysis would have been " dirty " as Saul describes. Its the amount of toxins and dead organisms flooding the body. I am going to have to experiment with ways to detox that after a sauna session. It'll be trial and error as to what works with my body. I am not too keen on coffee enemas as no matter what anybody says, I suspect some of the caffeine is absorbed and I don't do well with caffeine, it really makes me jittery. But it may be that liver flushes and regular enemas and charcoal on an as-needed basis, plus green juices, helps. said herxes from lyme are attenuated on ozone because he believes the ozone oxidizes the lyme toxins. This was a very interesting idea s the lyme toxins are these lipid things, I forget what they're called, but they are what's acknowledged to cause most of our symptoms with lyme. I also had this incredible craving for rare steak--I mean rare. I ate it Saturday night and last night. It was definitely related to the ozone. Guest guest
Hi Jill The herx I experience from ozone is exactly the same as the herx I experience from other borrelia killing modalities. I begin to feel extra fatigue/lethargy. I have gland pain under my arms and across my chest and sometimes in my groin, my fibro pain is exacerbated, I get very sleepy and can sometimes sleep up to 14hrs whereas I usually have insomnia, I have joint pains and a sitff neck and often suffer heavy night sweats. To sum up I feel like I have been poisoned which I probably have as killing lyme releases extra toxins. I know this is not candida die off as I don't have candida very badly anymore and I don't herx when taking anti candida meds. I'm not sure if ozone attenuates lyme herxes by oxidising the toxins. I have always herxed badly on ozone and the herxes are dose dependent. I haven't discovered anything yet to improve the herxes. FIR sauna helps a tiny bit. --lyme--herx > Can you describe your herx on ozone? > > I've got a combination of systemic lyme and systemic candida. Guest guest
Thanx . Lyme is one nasty bug, isn't it? But do you feel you are improving using these modalities?

Hi Gail Yes I do feel better some times and relapse others. Relapses are generally bought on by too much physical or mental activity but sometimes they just happen too. At the moment I am doing about 15mins of vaginal insufflation 3x a week and some aural insufflation (not to kill the lyme atm but just for other benefits), 2-3 sessions of rife on lyme frequencies only for about 1-2minutes each time because this induces heavy die of and herxes and also 2 x 30 minutes per week of FIR sauna. I hope to up the levels of ozone gradually but I'm still really in the experimental stage atm seeing what works for me. When I first got my ozone generator I did more ozone but was suffering horrendous herxes (3-4days long) from die off so I had to cut back as herxing from lyme die off is hard on the liver and must be handled gradually > > Thanks, > > Gail > > > > > > OxyPLUS is an unmoderated e-ring dealing with oxidative therapies, and other alternative self-help subjects. > > THERE IS NO MEDICAL ADVICE HERE! > > This list is the 1st Amendment in action.
