Guest guest
Sandi: Thanks for the info. About the behavior. I happened to stumble on a book at the library, this thin little thing called " Loving Your Six Year Old " or something similar. I am so happy I found this book, because every obnoxious trait of 's we've suffered from this year was in this book, all normal for this age. They explain that age six is much like age two. I SO agree!!!!! The hard part is that is six and Kate is three. Well. Three was the hardest age by far (to-date) with and it's proving to be the worst with Kate as well. Kate has always been the easiest child ever, but while I was busy patting myself on the back for this (actually, I knew it was just temperament and nothing to do with me), someone must have let Kate know she was the magic " 3 " and could act like a mule/diva. I always said age three was " Terrible Twos...with Attitude " . So all of a sudden my cherub, my compliant angel, is fighting me over everything, is belligerent, is impossible to dress or get out the door. This girl had a grand total of three tantrums during the age of two, which is amazing to me. probably had three a week or more when she was two -- violent, thrashing episodes that lasted 45 minutes each. Hopefully when they are 7 and 4 I'll have peace. Yeah, sure!!! I'm gonna keep believing that, it keeps me away from the sedatives! (mom to , age 6-1/2, dairy intolerant-related GERD -- currently has polysaccharide antibody def, previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other defs... and also to Kate, age 3!, more dairy intolerant but very healthy!)
