Guest guest
Has anyone had their child experience dizziness with wellbutrin? Chris had very bad reactions to SSRI's. He was in the hospital last week to keep him safe while he tapered off of celexa. I haven't heard back from the hospital, but I'm assuming that his dizziness and nausea is caused by the wellbutrin. After 2 days on the drug, I'm taking him off of it so he'll hopefully feel better enough by Monday to be able to go to a special Celtics' basketball camp their training facility. He tapered off of 20 mg. celexa pretty quickly. His last dose was Wed. AM. On Thursday they started him on a small dose of wellbutrin. (He's also taking risperdol, ativan, and amoxicillan - for lyme disease.) On the way home from the hospital yesterday, the poor guy was so carsick that we had to stop twice for 45 minutes during the drive home. Once he felt better, he couldn't resist trying his new skateboard, and he jumped and used it until he felt sick and dizzy again. This has actually happened a few times. He finally learned his lesson and is now in for the day. I'm wondering if the dizziness is more likely to be caused by the wellbutrin or withdrawing from the celexa, or from the 1.0 mg. ativan he's been taking 3x/day.
