Guest guest
I have asked a lawyer friend of mine, who is also a patient to write some letters that we can use to augment the efforts of IDF in rallying our congressional leaders to make some changes in medicare. Even though probably none of us are currently on medicare the things that are happening there do affect us in a big way. Insurance companies are starting to follow the pricing Medicare sets. That means the problems we are seeing for Medicare patients now will eventually affect our kids. Please go to the " Action Letters " file and read what we have written. If you are willing to help out, please either cut and past from that file or email me off line and I will send you a copy of the file. We need your help to make a difference. Please send the letters your self and in addition have friends and family send them too. The more they get the better. Our goal is to let them know there is more than IDF out there and the numbers are growing. We really need to make a lot of noise on this issue. IDF is having a Capital Hill day on April 6th. It can only help them if we get these letters to our representitives before then. In additon once you have sent the letter and you get others to send the letters, please let me know how many get sent out. We are keeping track of this campaign for two reasons, one to let IDF know and two IG Living would to track our efforts for a possible future article. In addition to this we would like people that are willing to try and set up meetings in your area and invite your senators and congressional reps to talk with you. If you are interested in being a leader for this type of thing, please let me know and I will tell you how to do it. This can only work if we all get together. Help us make some noise!! thanks, Kris M
