Guest guest
Sorry I went AWOL! For those of you who don’t already know, my baby chicken died and I’ve been in a major funk for the last few weeks because of it. I went vegetarian that day and have lost 5 pounds since. Maybe there is something to the eating, or maybe it is the depression, either way, I’m smaller so I’m okay with it. I guess. Anyway, I’m not completely myself yet, but I’m getting there. I need to be checking in with ya’ll though, because I’ve totally let my workouts go by the wayside since I haven’t been on my groups. So, when I get caught up on the 4500 emails I have to read (yeah, please don’t be offended if I miss one or two—hundred, lol), I’m planning on doing my new 10 Minute Trainer DVDs. Not sure how much of them I’ll do, but something is better then what I’ve been doing, which is only the walking I do going to and from classes. As for classes, they are going good. I’m finished with my online Entry to Education class and will be admitted to the Health and Physical Education major at the end of the summer semester. I’m also doing an Issues in Education class which is pretty interesting. Honestly, I enjoy it because I’m not prudish and most of my classmates are so I get to get them all worked up when we discuss sex education. LOL Yeah, I’m ornery! I’m also taking a computer class, where I’m teaching the instructor about her computer. Yeah, it’s a cake class. And then there’s my favorite class—Perspectives in Nutrition. The instructor is an exercise physiologist. I’m really not sure what is up with the exercise phys major, but they don’t really seem to learn much that is useful. Every exercise phys that I’ve ever had come to work for me in a gym, I’ve had to train how to be a trainer because they didn’t learn the hands on stuff at all. Now this one I’m having to correct in class when he gets things just completely wrong. He didn’t even know how many calories per gram alcohol is and he got the essential body fat numbers for men and women backwards. Like those teenage girls in my class aren’t close enough to anorexic, he’s telling them that they only need 5% body fat! Needless to say, I have an A in that class without having opened the book. I have a quiz on reading food labels on Tuesday. Yeah, I’m going to study for that! LMAO~~~~!!! So, anyway, that’s what’s been up with me. Now, I’m off to go catch up with what all of you have been up to. Tonya
