Guest guest
On top of the " excellent " NHS SLT I have to deal with another thing now. My son goes to a nursery where there are a few special places for kids with language problems. He is going to stay there for another year because we applied for a retained year and for the special place. He was very happy at the begining, then started to be a bit less happy going there. I didn't know why so I sent my ABA therapist to observe him there 2 times. My sensory seeking child spends 2.5 hours there during which he is not allowed to run in or outside. During the observation, my ABA therapist also noticed he was told off several times,a few times for things he actually didn't do. Now it gets better: one of the nursery nurses said today to my ABA therapist that every time she calles Kuba's name he hides his head in his shouders. And she said " I don't know what is going on in his home " . OK I had no idea he did this, as no-one had told me, every time I ask about Kuba they say he is fine. Do I leave this without doing anything or do I acctually go and say something about it.
