Guest guest
Again, I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing, but this fact still bothers me, so I wanted to ask for other's opinions. My daughter is receving her first cast in about a week. I believe we have a very good doctor at Cincinnati Children's, and was surprised when he said we didn't need to have an MRI done on her right now. He said he wanted to cast her and if she wasn't improving then we could turn to the MRI. His reasoning is that he doesn't want to sedate a child any more than necessary (I completely agree). I feel quite confident if I pushed for an MRI the doctor would proceed with one, but again I don't want to put her through any more than necessary. Thoughts?
