Guest guest
Hi all,I haven't been on the group in awhile.Tomorrow (Monday), I take back to see the doctor. We haven't been there since October, when he checked out how she was doing in her brace. She turned 4 in January, and it was just over a year ago that we started the active part of treatment for IS. Addie was in two casts, before we were able to get her into a brace. Back in January, she was checked out by her bracing technician, who felt like she was still doing great in her brace. From my own experience, he back looks fantastic! Especially compared to how it was last year. Yes, she still has a curve, but she does fantastic wearing a brace, and it certainly helps in our every day life. 95% of me is convinced that we'll go in there tomorrow, the doctor will be very happy with what he sees, and tells us to just keep going the way we are. I'll admit there's the 5% of me that's worried. Worried that he's going to want to put her back in a cast. Just wanted to give the update, and get that off my chest. I'm sure she'll be fine, but I'm still worried about tomorrow. Hopefully it will come out fine. I admit - if we can just " maintain " with a brace, and avoid casting and surgery - we'll take that. Even if it's until she's 12 years old, we'll take that. I'll post the update tomorrow evening, when we get home.============================ - father to , 4 years old, 2 casts, 1 braceSan Diego
