Can you imagine Makennas series of casts with NO windows!!! I saw the pics and its just unacceptable. Im writing the doc now, but don’t expect a reply.. I have a friend who used to work in the medical community in Brazil. I have her putting feelers out about treatment. She has a good friend who is an orthopedic surgeon there. I'll let you know what I hear from her. The cast was applied and was a traditional risser - no cut outs at all. I received an email throught Makenna's website from a mother in Brazil. Her daughter is getting a cast next week, but was only told it will hold the curve. They haven't discussed correction.
