Guest guest
haven't really posted much on my workouts huh? well lets see i have aquired all lotte berks and two core fusion exhales so i will start there.lotte berk isn't overly challenging it really gets to the point as well as stretching out. i would say more bar method light. i do enjoy them though and plan on adding more to the rotations(whenever i get back to them LOL). i haven't tried the abs or high round assets yet but muscle eats fat and the basics are pretty straight to the point workouts. i notice there are bonus mini workouts as well.i love love the core fusions. i have to watch with the ab work i don't do all the reps and i modify(actually lotte berk shows modifications so i use them here as well). for short 10 min segments they really go for the gold so you are worked! lots of lotte berk and callanetics inspired work here but when doing leg work they don't emphasize the "tuck" but they do with ab work. and many know if you have back issues the "tuck" can be harmful. i don't tuck as much. its not much of a bother when standing but lying down its an issue just doesn't feel right but practice makes perfect and modify modify modify. another newbie workout for me is gaiam's cardio balance ball with tanja delvic. i rather enjoyed this high beg/intermediate workout. she uses the ball for the whole workout from warm up to cool down. the cardio portions are fast fast movements involving the legs its not high impact or super heart thumping cathe intensity but it worked. the strength segments are more slower controlled high rep combos for total body. for upper body i subbed 3lb dumbbells. she doesn't use any but i recommend light for it b/c its high rep non stop. its not a hard workout but you do get a workout.another one i tried this morning was kickbox yoga fusion from gaiam with patricia moreno. i enjoy her as an instructor but she builds her workouts to slowly although there is some benefit to it. in this workout she builds up slowly but adds in fast paced combos so you get a lot on form with lighter cardio. there is nothing fusion really with this workout. the warm up and cool down are the same and its not yoga but yoga like stretching. no sun salutations or warrior moves just stretching and rounding movements to warm up and loosen the back. i have tried her other kickbox workout from gaiam and found that one was way better, its the same idea but i just like the exercises better in that one. both gaiam workouts are filmed outdoors in the desert which makes them highly appealing. i love the feel of them, makes them more relaxed. i do want to get more of tanja workouts but something that doesn't come with a kit LOL. she seems to mostly with that right now. tomorrow i would like to try just b method attitude(the first one) or pure barre tomorrow. i am kind of playing, how do a i feel today for workouts. no real rotation. i have enough stress going on right now i don't want to feel like a slave to a rotation then get all bent out of shape when it doesn't workout my way. lets me go with the flow somewhere and it helps LOL. kassia Special Needs Scouting
