Guest guest
I have 's blood test results and they include thyroid tests, can anyone interpret the results? The thyroid stuff is all within normal ranges but I understand vaguely (or perhaps incorrectly, lol) that some of you don't think the standard guidelines are helpful. Here are the results: (drumroll please) Free T4 14.2 (the range for this lab is 9.0-26.0) TSH 3.23 (range 0.3-4.2) Is this good, bad or inconclusive? As a bit of bonus information, he tested high in Dopamine, high on Mono markers (which I'm assuming means that he has had the virus in the past). Also there were some other markers that nobody probably knows anything about (but alas, I live in hope) that are (second drum roll please) high MCV and low RDW. These indicate a particular type of anemia but his HGB levels are top end (as I'm an iron freeeaaaak). He is also high in inflammatory markers (ESR) which correlates with the high Anti-nuclear antibodies that we have previously received. Thus the referral to the rheumatologist. AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH. Any comments appreciated. Oh well, at least he hasn't cut his hair in some funky pattern like other listers children.....hehe Darla xx
