Guest guest
Hi Everyone, So: My son's first standing X-ray on Nov. 30th showed 60 degree thoracic curve. He got into his first cast on Monday, and his first in-cast X-ray showed 21 degree. (Which seemed like a big " yay! " to me. Flexible...?) The in-cast X-ray was done with Teddy still under sedation, so I'm figuring it was basically supine. Can anyone please tell me if an in-cast STANDING curve would be similar to an in-cast SUPINE? (In other words, if they'd waited for him to wake up, and then done the X-ray, would we have seen less of a correction?) The cast is very tight, I think. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!
