Guest guest
Hi , My daughter Holly, is now nearly 2 and a half. We are basically in wait and watch mode. All the surgeons we have seen said that casting and bracing would do little as the bone is the problem, and we can't do anything about that without surgery. Our ortho surgeon is Dr Angus Gray. At her initial appointment the curve was measured at 26 degrees, then 4 months later at 22 degrees, then 4 months later at 24 degrees - so pretty much the same (touch wood)with different movement and measurement error. He said at our last appointment that he would see us in 10 months - way too long in my opinion so I bargained him back to 6! I am more worried about possible rotation at the moment as her little bump near the hemi seems to be getting a little higher, even though she doesn't appear to be more 'crooked' for want of a better word!!! Summer in Sydney has been a shocker! Last night we were wearing sweaters and jumping puddles! Emma-Jane > > > Thanks for the update on lil Hannah.
