Diapering advice...first cast!

My son is 7 months old and got his first cast on Thursday. The first day and

night were a little rough for him, but he's quickly adjusting. Hes 48 degrees

out of cast and 22 degrees in the first cast

My question involves diapering. He's still mostly nursing so his bowel movements

are still liquid like. It's day 3 and he's already had an explosion up his back!

I cleaned it best I could, pulled the shirt down, dried him, etc. I'd rather be

able to avoid this all together! Any tips? We've gone down a size in diapers and

are using Huggies snug and dry.

In the meantime I'm doing all I can to get him to eat more solid foods! He's

just not a fan, yet.
