"Dr. R" is fantastic. He was referred to us by a top surgeon at HSS in NYC. He also did his residency there and moved to Rochester after. Our son started with Rubery with a 54 degree curve was casted about 9 times and is now at 6 degrees (and in a night brace) and holding for about a year now.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: "" <harvestfarm12@...>Sender: infantile scoliosis treatment Date: Fri, 12 Aug 2011 02:16:28 -0000<infantile scoliosis treatment >Reply infantile scoliosis treatment Subject: First casting Hello everyone,My daughter Noelle had and MRI Tuesday which came back normal and then immediately following the MRI went into her first cast. I wanted to than everyone for all of their support. This website is truly wonderful. I was wondering who else has been treated in Rochester by Dr.R? Also, anybody in the area would be more than welcome to come over for a playdate and tour of the farm. Thanks again.Tim

We're not from NY for the playdate invite (too bad), but I just wanted to say

that's such wonderful news about Noelle's normal MRI and first cast. HOORAY!

Best wishes -- thinking of you!

Wish we could have a farm tour! I hope you can meet other CAST families in NY and that lil Noelle can play with someone else in cast…That would be priceless. If it happens please take pics!HRH From: infantile scoliosis treatment [mailto:infantile scoliosis treatment ] On Behalf Of Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2011 8:16 PMinfantile scoliosis treatment Subject: First casting Hello everyone,My daughter Noelle had and MRI Tuesday which came back normal and then immediately following the MRI went into her first cast. My daughter Ariana is casted in Rochester but her doctor is Dr. hes the

one that is teaching everyone the casting technique. My daughter was braced since

she was about 5 months old and recently went into the cast on July 27th for the

first time.Hes not sure if the cast will work cause she has a double curve and

now has rotation of the spine. We are praying. Her curves are 26 upper and 36

lower. We are lucky to be living in Rochester. My daughter has been doing ok but

she does take a lot of falls and hits her head a lot because of the weight of

the cast.Everytthing else is doing good she sometimes asks for her brace to come

off but I have to tell her its a cast and it cant come off.Well I hope Noelle is

doing well!
