Guest guest
Kaylene: Last night there was a program (one hour) on a local (?) channel here in SF Area...I don't know if it was aired at other places too...quite informative I would say! There were 6 or 7 segments, each about 10 minutes long, where a specialist in a field talked about the different therapies out there...one of them was Vision therapy...the speaker was Dr. Claude A. Valenti, out of San Diego. As a reference they listed www.pavevision.org I haven't checked the website yet...but from what he described they do at their center, it seemed to make a lot of sense. They seemed to have a variety of exercises aimed at hand-eye coordination, etc. Fun Stuff! So...it might not be a bad idea to get your son evaluated by a behavioral optometrist...tough part might be to be able to find one close to where you live! Good Luck!
