We live in Columbus too and go to Cincinnati. The doctors we saw at Columbus

Children's were not doing the Mehta casting, they were still doing the old style

casting. I will email you and give you more information that we got and also

maybe our families can get together.

has been so much easier than we expected! Thank You Jesus! I am so grateful

for this sight - the support and ideas are wonderful! We are near Columbus, OH

and are casting in Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. I noticed some

of you are also near Columbus, but are casting in Cincinnati. I'm curious what

took you to Cincinnati? Are we missing something in Columbus? Is the casting

better/different there? We just want to be sure we are getting the best care

for our son.

We live in Columbus. Our son is no longer in casts. He is in a brace. We traveled to Erie and Rochester, but once we saw casting was no longer improving ours son's curve we stayed close to home with a doc at Nationwide Children's. Can you possible email me with the doc you are seeing. It has to be the same doctor. I would be happy to hear he has come around to casting!

The doc in Cincinnati was one of the first in the U.S. to apply Mehtas ET (Early Treatment) to infants/children with scoli. He is a firm believer in this gentle & corrective treatment modality and follows ET principles and Mehtas ET technique to the letter. Glad to hear Bryce is in cast and doing well! Please keep us posted on his progress.HRH From: infantile scoliosis treatment [mailto:infantile scoliosis treatment ] On Behalf Of travisandcrysSent: Tuesday, February 07, 2012 9:33 PMinfantile scoliosis treatment Subject: Columbus vs. Cincinnati Our 15 month old son, Bryce got his first cast Jan. 30, 2012. If you need ideas on things to do in Cinti when travelling for treatment, the Family Center is awesome and can provide some discount coupons - or ask me! I live 32 miles NW of Children's in Cinti. is also a patient there for her Congenital Scoli (she was the first VEPTR patient there - for the newbies who may not "know" us yet) We have met families down there to offer support and we can usually dig up coupons for the zoo (which is, literally, across the street from the hospital) museums etc. Gail********************************************************My current location: The corner of mayhem, foolishness, and total insanity From: Hyatt <heather@...> infantile scoliosis treatment Sent: Friday, February 10, 2012 11:56 AM Subject: RE: Columbus vs. Cincinnati
