Guest guest
I don't know a lot of the new parents on here yet, I had been a bit MIA lately. My older son Cole (now 4) was diagnosed with PIS when he was 15 months old. He has been straight for over a year now. I actually just paid his last scoliosis related medical bill yesterday! woohoo! Lately I have been thinking my 18 month old's back looks a bit off. Today my husband agreed and we went for x-rays. I took a quick peak and they looked ok. Not perfect but ok. I should feel elated, but instead I wish that it was something a bit more concrete. Either perfect or crooked. I'm worried when I get numbers that the laying down will be like 5 and that will leave me wondering where his standing would be. Blahhh!! I hate scoliosis! Guest guest
We emailed the x-rays over to our ortho who will be measuring them today. He agrees that despite the tiny curve, it is not straight, though there is no rotation Standing he is probably 10-15 degrees - so VERY small. Our current plan with him is to wait 3 months and then redo x-rays. The ortho believes that this will be resolving, but we will watch very closely just in case. Guest guest
Glad to hear it is a small curve and we will be hoping and praying it self resolves soon!! Fournier Sent from my iPhone
