Maisy is in her fourth cast and has a lot of gas, too. It doesn't seem to bother her, pain-wise with this cast, though. She would get tummy aches with her previous casts and would always want her tummy rubbed. We would also " burp " her like when she was a baby because that seemed to help her get rid of the excess gas in her tummy. With her present cast she doesn't need the help and has big burps and really powerful farts. I am wondering if it isn't because of the way this cast is so high up into her armpits and neck since she is getting closer to the correction she needs to having a removable brace. This cast seems to make her stand extremely erect and has made her tummy flatter rather than distended as in her previous casts. So maybe that's making things " flow " easier for her. >> Hey everyone, > > I have noticed in this cast Thaddeus has had a lot of gas. He seems to get air trapped in his tummy and cant burp unless is pick him up. Anyone Had anything similar happen. this is Cast 5 and didnt seen this much change in the last casts. His Dr did say this is the because cast he has been in especially rotation so im thinking it may be a position thing.. Maybe Correction he has been sick twice because of the air in his tummy. he crys because he cant get it out and that makes it worse and once he burps he gets sick maybe from the pressure. he is fine other wise. the cast isnt tight.. im kinda stumped> > > Mommy to Thaddeus 3yr>
