Guest guest
Hello All, I posted a few months ago about my son Arthur. He had a 15 degree curve (COBB angle) at 4 months and it hadn't progressed, but also hadn't resolved at all at 7 months. Arthur is now 9 months old and we had our first appointment at Chicago Shriners today. They took a sitting x-ray (the last two were supine) which showed a completely straight spine! Dr. H believes he has the resolving type of infantile scoliosis and wants to take another x-ray in May once Arthur can stand for an x-ray just to make sure it stays resolved. I am so grateful for this group for educating me about infantile scoliosis so I could make well-informed decisions for my baby. I also cannot say enough good things about my local Shrine Center and the drivers who took us there and back. I have been consistently impressed by every person I have interacted with involved with Shriners and our trip today was so smooth and easy thanks to them. I am going to switch my subscriptions to this group so I will no longer be reading every message, but all of the cast families I've been reading about for the last 6 months will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you all so much! Foley Mama to Arthur, 15 degree curve at 4 months, resolved on its own at 9 months
